Swapping a Website (www.oceanavox.com) for a renewal of this Blogsite!

Hey there new friends and old!

My sturdy, delightful old website, www.oceanavox.com is still alive and well but cannot be expanded. And I've been trying to get my mind around website building systems like Squarespace and Wix and am just aghast at how the 'great site, easy to build' accolades are simply not true! Or not for me anyway. Nearly 8 hours on this plodding, inefficient use of my time is going nowhere.

All that said, if you are HERE, then it's because I managed to talk my former Oceanavox website manager into adding life to one last item: http://oceanavox.blogspot.com/. So now this Oceanavox Blogsite and the elderly but still functional OceanaVox Website can talk to each other!

The reason for all this kerfuffle is that I have loads of new (about 1 year) watercolor paintings I'd love to show you and cannot now get them uploaded to the website, so here they are! If you have interest in learning more about them, I hope you'll email me at lkhandro@gmail.com and we can chat.

To start with then, and working back in time through my trove of photos on Google, be forewarned that the Google photo quality is sub-par until I can upgrade the quality...working on it!

Cheerios to all!

Linda M. Khandro says she is something of a mixed salad!

I am a geologist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, and Master’s Degree in Teaching Earth Science, along with Washington State Teaching Certificate; teaching college earth and space sciences (geology, astronomy, oceanography, meteorology, environmental science) in face to face, hybrid, and online classes since 1991. I also teach earth and space sciences for seniors in the Puget Sound region, in particular with Creative Retirement Institute (CRI) through Edmonds College.

The “mixed salad” part? I’ve been involved in a variety of creative endeavors over the years; visual arts and photography, poetry, dance, and music. Harp took over my musical life 2 decades ago; watercolor painting and life drawing (human figure) have taken over the past 2 years. What could possibly happen next?
